# Creating connection definition file

Use the following tool to dynamically create the connection definition of your PLC or SINUMERIK:

Open AGLink40\_Config.exe and select the folder of your S7/SINUMERIK plugin as a settings folder.

Add the PLC and optionally the NCK to the "Connections" tab as illustrated below.

For best results first, add the PLC with PLC no 0 and then the NCK with PLC no 1.&#x20;

Click "Apply" or "OK" to persist the changes to your configuration definition file (AGLink40CfgDev0000.xml).&#x20;
